Iceworks Project
The ice-based “Iceworks” series inverts familiar hot glass-making techniques such as casting, staining, laminating, and fusing. Water and organic matter were used to create site-specific images/objects in Frontenac Park. This work was made possible with the support of the Ontario Arts Council’s Chalmers Art Fellowship program, and was documented by filmmaker Adriana Monti, resulting in her short film, Icework.
